Our client is looking for an experienced Investor Relations professional to join its UAE team and play a key role in managing relationships with the investment community, supporting financial communications and strengthening the company's positioning within the capital markets.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and act as a key point of contact for institutional investors, analysts and other external stakeholders. The role combines strategic investor relations, financial analysis, communications and market intelligence, with responsibility for representing the business externally and supporting key investor engagement activities. The official JD similarly positions the role across strategic IR initiatives, analyst engagement, financial communications, market intelligence and disclosure.
* Manage and develop relationships with institutional investors, equity research analysts and the wider financial community
* Lead preparation for investor meetings, roadshows, conferences, site visits, quarterly earnings activity, Capital Markets Days and Investor Days.
* Develop clear and compelling investor messaging that aligns with the company's strategy, financial performance and shareholder value proposition.
* Lead the drafting and review of investor presentations, earnings scripts, financial press releases and regulatory disclosures.
* Provide senior management with market feedback, investor sentiment and insight into shareholder expectations
* Monitor analyst coverage, peer performance, valuation trends, trading activity, shareholder movements and broader market developments.

* Work closely with the wider communications function to ensure consistent financial and corporate messaging across external channels
* Support strategic Investor Relations projects and contribute to the continued development of the company's IR strategy
The client is ideally looking for someone with around 10 to 15 years of relevant experience, although strong candidates with approximately 8 to 9 years may also be considered.
Candidates currently working within Investor Relations or Equity Research will be the strongest fit. Profiles from Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Finance or other capital markets backgrounds may also be considered where there is strong investor exposure and financial capability.
The formal JD asks for at least 7 to 10 years of experience across Investor Relations, Equity Research, Corporate Finance or Capital Markets.
* Strong financial analysis, modelling and commercial understanding
* Proven experience managing institutional investor and analyst relationships
* Experience leading investor meetings, roadshows, conferences and senior stakeholder discussions
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong financial communications and presentation capability
* Arabic speaking and ideally Arabic writing would be a significant advantage
* Experience within chemicals, fertilizers, energy, industrials, mining, agriculture or commodities would be highly relevant. The formal JD specifically highlights chemicals, energy and agriculture exposure as preferred.
* CFA, MBA or a relevant Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business qualification would be advantageous.
The successful candidate should be polished, commercially aware and credible when dealing with senior leadership and external investors. The client is looking for someone with strong social intelligence who can build relationships naturally while maintaining the gravitas required for a senior Investor Relations position.
This person should be confident without being overly dominant, personable without being overly informal, and comfortable representing the organisation in high level external meetings and investor environments.
