Junior Accountant

Job Description

Our client is a UAE-based techno-commercial group delivering engineering, lifting and industrial solutionsacross Energy, Oil & Gas, Marine, Construction, Infrastructure and Material Handling, with multiple businesses and group entities.

Location:Sharjah, UAE

Experience:3+ years of hands-on UAE Accounting experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses and journal entries.
• Maintain accurate General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivablerecords.
• Perform bank, customer, supplier and inter-company reconciliations.
• Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete and properly documented.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules and management datafor multiple group companies.
• Provide financial information and supporting documents to the Internal Audit team.
• Support the Tax & Compliance team with financial data, VAT/Corporate Tax workings and documentation.
• Assist with month-end closing, audits and financial reporting.
• Identify discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
  
  

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field

3+ years of UAE accounting experience

Strong knowledge of AP/AR, General Ledger, reconciliations and day-to-day accounting

Good command of MS Excel and accounting/ERP software

Basic understanding of UAE VAT & Corporate Tax

Experience With Multiple Entities/group Companiesis Preferred
