Responsibilities

• Prepare and cut meat and fish products according to hotel standards and chef’s specifications.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of all products to maintain freshness and comply with health and safety standards.
• Assist in portioning, weighing, and packaging meat and fish items for kitchen use.
• Work closely with the culinary team to deliver quality ingredients for various menu items.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering strictly to hygiene regulations.
• Assist in the development of new preparation techniques and recipes as required.
• Operate and maintain butcher and fishmongery equipment safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years of experience in butchery and fishmongery within a professional kitchen environment, preferably in luxury hotels or fine dining establishments.
• Basic culinary knowledge with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to handle meat and fish products with precision and care.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
• Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Must be currently in UAE
