Junior Frontend Developer

We are looking for a Junior Frontend Developer to join our team under a hybrid work arrangement. Our client is an international infrastructure firm expanding its operations, and this role will focus on building the internal and client-facing interfaces that translate complex commercial advisory data into clear, interactive decision-support tools. At Gulf Associates, we prioritize commercial judgment over speculative reports. In this position, you will help us build prototype interfaces and data visualization dashboards that allow chief executives and sovereign entities to digest ground reality evidence and counterparty behaviors during critical negotiations. This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive pay and direct exposure to high stakes advisory work.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain responsive, clean frontend interfaces used by advisors and senior leadership to visualize commercial scenarios and investment risks.
• Translate complex spreadsheets and decision models into simple, interactive web prototypes that our teams can use directly in regulator and counterpart conversations.
• Collaborate closely with our analysts in our hybrid office space to understand data structures, transforming their research findings into intuitive charts, graphs, and maps.
• Write clean, semantic HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript to ensure our data applications are fast, dependable, and highly usable.
• Implement updates and refinements to our existing suite of internal modeling tools based on direct feedback from partners and clients.
• Ensure data integrity and performance across all developed views, focusing on clear hierarchy and presentation over visual clutter.

What you bring

• A fundamental understanding of modern web technologies, specifically solid skills in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Basic familiarity with a modern frontend framework, such as React or Vue, and an interest in learning how to structure lightweight applications.
• Strong logical reasoning and an eye for layout clarity, understanding that the goal of a dashboard is to support decision-making rather than show off intricate designs.
• A curious mind regarding how businesses and infrastructure projects operate, with a willingness to learn about investment structures.
