Position: Junior Planning Engineer

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Planning Engineer to support project planning and controls activities on major infrastructure projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to further develop planning expertise while working within a large-scale project environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project schedules using Primavera P6
• Monitor project progress against approved baselines
• Prepare planning reports and progress updates
• Support resource planning and productivity monitoring
• Identify schedule risks, delays, and potential corrective actions
• Coordinate with project teams to collect and validate progress information
• Support the Project Controls team in achieving project objectives

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or a related discipline
• 5–8 years of planning experience within infrastructure, construction, or engineering projects
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams
• Good communication and organisational skills.
