Key Account Manager

We are looking for Key Account Manager who is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing strategic client relationships, managing key accounts, and achieving sales targets. The role involves overseeing the complete sales cycle, from lead generation and tender management to contract award and account expansion, while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term business partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.
- Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities across public and private sector organizations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and business partners.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, customer needs, and emerging opportunities.
- Develop and execute account plans to maximize sales potential within assigned territories or sectors.
Client Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding service offerings within existing accounts.
- Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
Tender & Proposal Management
- Monitor and evaluate tender opportunities and bidding requests.
- Coordinate the preparation and submission of proposals, quotations, and tender documentation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure technical and commercial requirements are met.
- Support clients during the RFP process to ensure alignment between proposed solutions and customer requirements.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with pre-sales, operations, legal, and product teams to ensure seamless project handover and execution.
- Communicate customer feedback and market requirements to relevant internal departments.
- Support the successful transition of awarded projects to delivery teams.
CRM & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, opportunities, and sales activities in the CRM system.
- Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance updates.
- Track and report key sales metrics and account performance indicators.
Marketing & Industry Engagement
- Represent the organization at industry events, exhibitions, conferences, and trade shows.
- Promote products and services through presentations, networking, and business development activities.
- Enhance market visibility and strengthen the company's industry presence.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certifications or postgraduate qualifications in Sales, Business Development, or Marketing are advantageous.
Experience
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in sales, business development, or key account management.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing strategic client relationships.
- Experience in tendering, proposal management, and contract negotiations.
- Experience working with government entities and large corporate clients is highly desirable.
Language Requirements
- Fluency in English (written and verbal).
- Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- Additional languages are considered beneficial.
