Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Land Surveyor to join our building construction team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting precise land surveys, site measurements, and mapping for various construction projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and efficiency in managing complex surveying operations while ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations.
  • Conduct comprehensive land surveys and site measurements using advanced surveying equipment including theodolites, GPS/GNSS systems, total stations, and laser levels
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret survey data to create accurate site maps, boundary determinations, and elevation measurements
  • Prepare detailed survey reports and technical documentation using CAD software and specialized surveying applications
  • Establish and verify control points and coordinate systems for construction site layouts and positioning
  • Collaborate with construction teams, architects, and engineers to ensure accurate site preparation and alignment with project specifications
  • Analyze blueprints and construction plans to determine surveying requirements and identify potential site challenges
  • Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of measurements
  • Document all survey findings and maintain organized records of site data and measurements
  • Ensure all surveying activities comply with UAE building codes, regulations, and industry standards
  • Perform quality control checks on survey data and verify accuracy of all measurements before project implementation

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of professional experience in land surveying for building construction projects
  • Diploma or degree in Land Surveying
  • Proficiency with surveying software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Trimble, and Leica systems
  • Advanced knowledge of GPS/GNSS technology and total station operations
  • Strong understanding of coordinate geometry and site layout principles
  • Demonstrated expertise in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and technical drawings
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and report generation
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple surveying projects simultaneously
  • Experience with construction site operations and project management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data management systems
