What You Will Be Doing

• Creating highly precise Academic Data Reports and performing systematic analysis to identify problems, detect anomalies, and initiate corrections within 48 hours
• Conducting rapid-intervention coaching calls and post-assessment support sessions to eliminate obstacles, distinguish knowledge deficits from errors, and sustain student motivation
• Assessing and integrating new educational applications and materials while developing AI/LLM prototypes to advance learning methodologies and address specific challenges
• Collaborating with leadership to optimize tools, dashboards, and mastery benchmarks as the AI tutor platform advances

• Attending prolonged meetings or delivering generic presentations disconnected from measurable results
• Grading assignments, developing lesson plans, or administering traditional educational programs—AI and innovation power our approach

Learning Designer Key Responsibilities

Accelerate student learning outcomes through AI-powered analysis and immediate academic intelligence, evidenced by improved metrics including 2× learning velocity, app engagement, lesson comprehension, response accuracy, and decreased negative learning behaviors throughout the Alpha Anywhere network.

Basic Requirements

• Proven experience in data science or comparable role, education, EdTech, or student-support position combining analytical and interpersonal dimensions
• Competence in Google Sheets data analysis (lookups, pivot tables, filtering)
• Strong emotional intelligence, excellent communication abilities, and a coaching approach suitable for children
• Experience creating workflows and automations using AI
• Minimum 1 year experience working directly with K-8 students
• Availability during mandatory core hours of 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Central Time, Monday through Friday.
  
  

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Foundation in learning science, educational theory, or documented success enhancing outcomes via data-driven approaches
• Familiarity with Generative AI, prompting methods, and foundational coding abilities (Python, JavaScript, etc.) for interacting with AI APIs

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
