As a Lifeguard, you’re not just ensuring the safety of pool and beach guests – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

• Greet and assist guests: Bring an upbeat and friendly attitude to all guest interactions, respond promptly to requests, and resolve any issues in a friendly, efficient manner
• Ensure swimmer safety: Monitor pool and beach activity to prevent accidents, enforce pool rules, and promote safe swimming practices
• Respond to emergencies: Act quickly and effectively in line with the emergency action plan, providing rescue or first aid when necessary
• Maintain a clean and safe environment: Conduct regular inspections and perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the pool and beach area
• Uphold regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing

The Following Capabilities And Qualifications Would Be Advantageous

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Pool and Beach Lifeguard qualified.
• First Aid and CPR certified.
• Committed to delivering a high level of customer service.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Maintains high standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism.
• Able to work consistently in a professional, helpful, and customer-focused manner.
