Job Purpose
The Maintenance & Operations Manager has to drive and encourage multitude of areas.
Key roles and responsibilities of the position:
Follow up of the Warranty and Maintenance Centre. Achieving the contractual and internal objectives of the project. Support Project Manager / Branch in the organization of the workshop.

Job Purpose
The Maintenance & Operations Manager has to drive and encourage multitude of areas.
Key roles and responsibilities of the position:
Follow up of the Warranty and Maintenance Centre. Achieving the contractual and internal objectives of the project. Support Project Manager / Branch in the organization of the workshop.
Main functions are:
- Planning of labour and materials.
- Planning milestones, monitoring and carrying out the objectives.
- Technical and financial support of trains and Maintenance Centre.
- Planning and monitoring of programs and preventive maintenance.
- Will report to the responsible of the Subsidiary in UAE and maintain contact with the rest of the country workshops, departments of Engineering, Quality, and Purchasing of Rail Services.
- Orientation to customer needs.
- Interlocution to the client and the organization itself.
- Alongside with GM ensures the closing of the availability and reliability calculations on monthly performance regime.
- Plan, direct, control and monitor all the workshop activities so that all targets are met alongside quality, safety and environmental standards.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement improvements to maintenance activities to optimize results.
- Collaborate with others to improve profitability through the implementation of lean tools and techniques.
- Anticipate and address customer issues; implementing solutions that maintain good relations and world class service standards.
- Manage and collaborate with other teams to ensure maintenance costs remain within budget.
- Build and lead a highly performing and motivated maintenance team by driving improved individual/ team performance, ensuring all employees are competent and future training needs are identified and met.
- Ensure all contractual KPIs are effectively monitored and controlled.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on performance, incorporating solutions to key risk areas.
- Provide support in developing, reviewing and monitoring the HSE Plan and objectives and targets. Provide positive leadership and promote the adoption of best-in-class.
- In addition to the duties and responsibilities outlined, you may be required to undertake other duties commensurate with your level and competence, which may result from changing circumstances, but which may not of necessity change the general character or level of responsibility to the post.
- Education: Industrial Engineer or Higher
- Professional Experience: Preferable experience in maintenance or technical assistance in the rolling stock and depot equipment knowledge.
