Manager Corporate Finance and Analysis

The Manager – Corporate Finance & Analysis is responsible for driving strategic financial planning through comprehensive analysis of long-term financial projections. The role leads the preparation of financial forecasts and submissions for internal and external stakeholders while developing and maintaining dynamic financial models for scenario planning, stress testing, and capital allocation. The position also drives cost optimization initiatives to improve overall profitability and serves as the lead for evaluating business cases and conducting investment appraisals to support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Lead the development and continuous refinement of long-term financial forecasts and five-year strategic business plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to gather inputs, align assumptions, and consolidate integrated business plans.
- Manage CAPEX planning and prioritization in line with strategic growth and operational requirements.
- Prepare and present financial outlooks, projections, and scenario analyses for internal reviews.
- Support capital planning and resource allocation aligned with organizational strategic objectives.
Financial Modelling & Analysis
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to evaluate business scenarios, investment opportunities, and funding strategies.
- Conduct sensitivity analysis, stress testing, and valuation assessments to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Monitor key financial and operational KPIs to identify risks, opportunities, and performance trends.
Business Case Evaluation & Investment Appraisal
- Lead the evaluation of business cases submitted by various departments, ensuring financial robustness and strategic alignment.
- Perform financial due diligence, ROI, IRR, NPV (where applicable), and payback period analysis for proposed projects and initiatives.
- Assess investment risks, assumptions, and commercial viability to support informed approval decisions.
Cost Optimization & Efficiency
- Identify and lead cost optimization and efficiency improvement initiatives across the organization.
- Partner with department heads to challenge cost assumptions, review key cost drivers, and monitor expenditure.
- Improve P&L performance through benchmarking and implementation of best practices.
Management Reporting & Decision Support
- Provide financial analysis and strategic support for senior management, board requests, and special projects.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis, cost studies, margin analysis, pricing support, and break-even assessments.
- Prepare management presentations, dashboards, and reporting materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Support the review of risk assessments in collaboration with the HSE team.
- Promote safe work practices by encouraging timely reporting of incidents, near misses, and environmental concerns. Monitor team compliance with HSE procedures and coordinate with HSE and operational stakeholders to ensure corrective actions are implemented
Requirements & Skills
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- MBA is preferred.
- Professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, or CMA is an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Finance or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
- At least 2–3 years of experience in Corporate Finance and/or FP&A is preferred.
Skills & Competencies

- Advanced knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance principles and investment appraisal techniques.
- Proficiency in analytical and reporting tools.
