Job Brief:

Our client is seeking an experienced Mechatronic Engineer with 10–15 years of relevant experience in paper machines, hydraulic/mechatronic systems, or comparable heavy industrial equipment.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with modern paper machines, preferably with exposure to complex and multiple hydraulic systems, along with strong technical knowledge in hydraulic and mechatronic systems, troubleshooting, maintenance, and field operations.

This Mechatronic Engineer Job in Abu Dhabi requires someone who is technically strong, experienced, and ready to take responsibility from day one, with a very short learning/running-in period after joining. The candidate should be able to quickly understand the systems and contribute effectively with minimal supervision.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle maintenance, troubleshooting, and field operations related to paper machine hydraulic and mechatronic systems.
• Work with modern paper machines, preferably involving complex and multiple hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hydraulic and mechatronic systems.
• Independently handle technical problems and provide effective solutions.
• Lead, guide, and supervise a technical team in the field.
• Plan maintenance activities and schedules using CMMS/SAP.
• Work effectively under operational requirements with a strong hands-on approach.
• Take responsibility for technical activities from day one with minimal supervision.
• Quickly understand the existing systems and contribute effectively with a short learning/running-in period.

Job Requirements:

• 10–15 years of relevant experience as a Paper Machine Hydraulic/Mechatronic Engineer or in a closely related technical role.
• Strong hands-on experience with modern paper machines is highly preferred.
• Experience with complex and multiple hydraulic systems is preferred.
• Candidates with relevant experience in other comparable heavy industries may also be considered.
• Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic and mechatronic systems.
• Strong experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and field operations.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead, guide, and supervise a technical team in the field.
• Experience in work planning and maintenance scheduling through CMMS/SAP.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to independently handle technical issues.
• Strong hands-on approach and ability to work effectively under operational requirements.
• Candidates should have strong experience in paper machines, hydraulic/mechatronic systems, or similar heavy industrial equipment.
• Must be technically strong, experienced, and capable of taking responsibility with minimal supervision.
