Our state-of-the-art outpatient facility provides day surgery, outpatient consultations, and comprehensive diagnostic services for over 30 clinical specialties.

The Medical Transcriptionist role is responsible for providing assistance to Physicians and relevant medical staff in related administrative activities including but not limited to transcribing patients’ medical reports and dictated notes of Physicians to be stored in the patients’ electronic medical records (EMR) as well as reviewing, editing and developing relevant documentation if and when required.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe physicians’ notes and medical reports into the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Support the transition of patient data from paper to digital formats in line with regulations.
• Manage medical record policies, including retention, destruction, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate insurance requests and approvals for prescribed treatments.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient visits, treatments, and referrals.
• Provide administrative support to physicians, including handling test results and patient documentation.
• Safeguard and process patient information requests while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
• 2+ years of progressive career experience
• Ability to transcribe recorded Physicians’ diagnosis and encode in software or systems
• Understanding of medical terminologies
• Strong attention to detail
• Fluency in written and spoken Arabic
