The role
The Model Behavior Monitor is a part-time, fully remote position designed for someone with a logical mind and a high attention to detail. In this role, you will help us maintain the integrity of our data outputs by reviewing how AI models react to specific prompts and data sets. Since we promise our clients a single source of truth, we need to ensure that the AI models we use do not deviate from established guidelines or provide conflicting information.
This position is entry level and is a good fit for an intern or a student who wants to understand how large language models are used in a professional, no-nonsense environment. You will work from your own location as the role is 100 percent remote. Your primary task is to act as a quality control layer, making sure that every piece of information generated meets our standards for accuracy and professional tone.

Day-to-day

• Reviewing model outputs to identify errors, inconsistencies, or deviations from provided instructions.
• Reading through internal documentation to understand the specific rules that models must follow.
• Categorizing different types of model mistakes, such as logical errors or tone issues.
• Writing brief reports that explain where a model failed to follow a specific configuration rule.
• Comparing multiple versions of model responses to see which one aligns best with the client project goals.
• Flagging data that seems incorrect or lacks the necessary context for a business environment.
• Assisting with the manual cleanup of data sets that will be used for future model training.
• Recording your findings in a simple, structured format so that our senior consultants can make necessary adjustments to the systems.

What we are looking for

• A high level of comfort with reading and writing in English, specifically with an eye for professional grammar and tone.
• The ability to follow instructions precisely and apply them to a variety of different scenarios.
• A cautious and skeptical approach to information, you should be someone who double checks facts naturally.
• Reliability in meeting deadlines for part-time tasks and maintaining consistent communication in a remote setting.
• Curiosity about how AI models process information and a willingness to learn our specific configuration methods.
• The ability to explain your reasoning clearly when you identify an error or a problem with an output.
• Recent graduates or current students are encouraged to apply as the requirements focus on logic and observation rather than prior corporate experience.
