Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Onboarding Specialist with a background in recruitment to manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires. This is a 3-month temporary position with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have strong experience handling high-volume hiring within the hospitality sector and be confident managing visa processing, documentation, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Onboarding Specialist with a background in recruitment to manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires. This is a 3-month temporary position with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have strong experience handling high-volume hiring within the hospitality sector and be confident managing visa processing, documentation, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full onboarding lifecycle from offer stage through to employee start date
- Prepare and process offer letters and employment contracts accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate visa processing, labour documentation, medical requirements, and Emirates ID applications
- Liaise closely with the PRO department and relevant authorities to ensure timely processing and compliance
- Manage security clearance processes where applicable
- Support high-volume hiring campaigns, particularly within hospitality operations
- Maintain accurate onboarding trackers and employee records
- Partner closely with recruitment and HR teams to ensure a seamless transition from candidate to employee
- Provide clear communication and guidance to new hires throughout the onboarding journey
- Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience in onboarding or HR operations
- Prior recruitment experience preferred
- Experience managing high-volume hiring within hospitality is highly desirable
- Strong working knowledge of visa and labour processing procedures
- Experience coordinating with PRO departments
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Technology literate and comfortable using HR systems and MS Office
