Job Summary

As an Operations Associate, you will deliver unforgettable experiences and expert operations within an exciting theme park environment. You will play a crucial role in opening and closing the leisure facility while ensuring seamless and safe operations across dynamic rides and attractions. Work in fast-paced, challenging conditions—standing, operating machinery, leading teams, and handling emergency situations—all while keeping guest safety and satisfaction top priority. Your enthusiasm and precision will create an exceptional guest journey.

Responsibilities

Guest Engagement & Safety

  • Welcome every guest with warmth and professionalism while enforcing ride rules and regulations for a safe and smooth experience.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient height measurements and safety checks for all ride participants.
  • Distribute, explain, and fit safety attire (if required) while providing clear instructions to maintain guest and colleague compliance.

Ride Operations & Control

  • Start-up and shut-down rides safely, verifying functionality and adherence to established procedures.
  • Organize and regulate effective queue management systems to minimize wait times and optimize ride operation.
  • Operate ride controls, emergency stops, and restraint systems responsively and confidently to address unexpected situations.

Daily Documentation & Compliance

  • Record daily ride performance metrics such as downtime logs, throughput analysis, and colleague breaks accurately.
  • Maintain up-to-date, organized documentation of operational activities to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety policies throughout all operational procedures and guest interactions.

Emergency & Team Leadership

  • Lead and manage small teams during ride downtime or emergency situations, providing direction and maintaining a calm environment.
  • Effectively handle emergencies, adhering to protocol and communication procedures to guarantee guest and colleague safety.

Continuous Service Excellence

  • Uphold an outstanding guest experience by delivering fun, engaging, and personalized interactions across all guest contact points.
  • Promote a secure, clean, and welcoming environment within the attraction and ride areas.
  • Execute additional responsibilities designed to enhance facility operations and the guest journey within the theme park.

Qualifications

Essential

  • No formal qualifications required (higher secondary education or equivalent preferred).
  • Fluent English language skills for effective communication with guests and colleagues.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to engage warmly with guests and maintain peak interaction standards.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence and problem-solving abilities.
  • A dynamic, outgoing personality with a genuine passion for guest contact and delivering memorable experiences.
  • Flexibility to manage high-pressure situations and work long shifts while maintaining focus during both peak and off-peak periods.
  • Upholding ethical integrity by practicing honesty, responsibility, and strict safety standards.

Desirable

  • One year of hands-on experience in rides and attractions within another theme park.
  • Arabic language proficiency to enhance multicultural guest interactions.
  • Experience in operating machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Team leadership capacity to manage small teams during challenging situations.
  • Uninterrupted concentration ability for sustained periods to ensure rides and attractions operate smoothly.
  • Aptitude for multitasking to handle emergency situations and operational demands simultaneously.
  • Supervisory skills to successfully oversee guest and colleague safety within attractions and rides.
  • Creative and alternative thinking to develop innovative solutions for work challenges.
