Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed clinical evaluations of patients suffering from chronic and acute pain.
- Develop and implement personalized pain management treatment plans using pharmacologic and interventional methods.
- Conduct interventional procedures such as nerve blocks, epidural injections, and radiofrequency ablations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals including physiotherapists, psychologists, and general physicians to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educate patients and their families regarding pain management strategies and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain thorough medical records and comply with healthcare regulations.
- Stay current with the latest advances in pain medicine and participate in ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Medical degree with specialization in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology, or related field from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or equivalent qualification in Pain Medicine.
- Valid medical license to practice in the relevant region.
- At least 3-5 years of clinical experience in managing both chronic and acute pain conditions.
- Proficiency in performing a wide array of interventional pain management procedures.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
