Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified Consultant Pediatric Gastroenterologist with American Board certification and Arabic language proficiency to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in diagnosing and managing gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and nutritional disorders in infants, children, and adolescents while delivering compassionate, family-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly qualified Consultant Pediatric Gastroenterologist with American Board certification and Arabic language proficiency to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in diagnosing and managing gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and nutritional disorders in infants, children, and adolescents while delivering compassionate, family-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage pediatric gastrointestinal and hepatology disorders
- Treat conditions including inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), celiac disease, GERD, chronic abdominal pain, constipation, liver diseases, and feeding disorders
- Perform pediatric GI procedures such as endoscopy and colonoscopy
- Develop individualized treatment and nutritional management plans
- Collaborate with pediatricians, surgeons, dietitians, and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide patient and family education regarding gastrointestinal health and preventive care
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to international clinical standards
- Participate in departmental quality initiatives, research, and continuing medical education activities
- Medical Degree with specialization in Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology
- American Board Certification in Pediatric Gastroenterology preferred
- Arabic speaker is mandatory
- DHA License Eligibility or active DHA License preferred
- Minimum 5 years of consultant-level experience
- Expertise in pediatric endoscopic procedures and advanced GI care
- Strong communication, leadership, and patient-management skills
