Your Role

As a Perfumer, you will develop the next generation of trend‑setting fragrances for both global and regional brands within the Consumer Fragrances division. Working closely with cross‑functional teams worldwide, you will create compelling scent experiences that resonate with consumers and align with customer needs, particularly within Household Applications.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and refining innovative fragrances for the main categories Fabric Care and Air Care, based on client briefs, consumer insights, and market trends, contributing directly to business growth objectives.
• Proactively creating new fragrances and developing scent technologies to support key regional and global strategic programs, strengthening foundational knowledge and long‑term category capabilities.
• Collaborating closely with R&D teams to identify, evaluate, and select cutting‑edge raw materials, ensuring the highest quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Leading sensory evaluation and stability studies of raw materials and fragrances across multiple applications, ensuring optimal scent performance throughout the product lifecycle.
• Partnering with internal stakeholders and clients throughout the fragrance development journey, providing expert insights and recommendations to drive successful commercial outcomes.
• Work closely alongside Master, VP, and Senior Perfumers to continuously develop your capabilities, deepen your technical expertise, and expand your knowledge across a broad range of perfumery techniques.
• Stay up to date with fragrance, consumer, and product trends by attending relevant industry events, while completing all assigned safety, compliance, and workplace practice training in line with company and regulatory requirements.

About you

Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field, with formal training in perfumery.
• Minimum of 10 years of industry experience, with a proven track record in developing fragrances for Fabric Care and Air Care applications.
• Experience in Surface Care and other Household products is an advantage.

• Strong creative mindset with passion for fragrance creation.
• Solid technical expertise in perfumery, including deep knowledge of raw materials and formulation techniques.
• High enthusiasm for market trends and consumer‑driven product development.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good understanding of consumer habits and preferences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross‑functional and multicultural teams.
• Fluent Arabic is a plus; advanced level of English is mandatory.
