Job Description

We are currently seeking a Planning Engineer , reporting directly to the Head of the Department to join our team based in UAE, Abu Dhabi.

About the mission we offer you:

The Planning Engineer is responsible for supporting project scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting activities for onshore and offshore projects. The role ensures that project plans are developed, updated, and maintained in line with project requirements, contractual milestones, and execution strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and update project schedules using planning tools such as Primavera P6 or equivalent.
• Monitor project progress against baseline schedules and highlight delays or risks.
• Coordinate with project, construction, engineering, and procurement teams to gather status updates.
• Support preparation of look-ahead schedules, progress reports, and dashboard summaries.
• Assist in identifying critical path activities and recovery actions.
• Track actual versus planned progress and support reporting to management and clients.
• Maintain planning records, schedule revisions, and project documentation.
  
  
  

Experience Required

• 5 to 10 years of experience in planning and scheduling.
• Experience in onshore and/or offshore project environments.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, scheduling, and progress measurement.
  
  
  

Required Skills

• Primavera P6 proficiency.
• Good analytical and reporting skills.
• Strong coordination and communication abilities.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across project functions.
