Job Objective
The PMC Senior Punch List Engineer is responsible for leading and managing all punch listing activities across assigned ADNOC projects, ensuring that construction, mechanical completion, and pre-commissioning works are completed in full compliance with project specifications, standards, and quality requirements. The role ensures systematic identification, tracking, prioritization, and closure of all punch items to support timely project handover, safe start-up, and operational readiness.
- Oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of punch list systems and procedures aligned with ADNOC and project requirements
- Coordinating closely with EPC contractors, discipline engineers, QA/QC teams, and commissioning personnel to ensure all punch items are accurately identified, categorized, and recorded
- Ensures proper classification of punch items based on criticality, including A, B, and C categories, and drives timely closure in line with project milestones
- Conducting regular site inspections and walkdowns to verify completion status and quality of work against approved drawings, specifications, and standards
- Monitors punch list progress, prepares detailed reports, and highlights key risks or delays to project management
- Ensuring that all punch items are resolved prior to mechanical completion and handover phases, minimizing carryover into commissioning and operations
- Validating that completed punch items meet quality and safety requirements before closure
- Supports system handover processes, ensuring documentation is complete and aligned with handover dossiers
- Close coordination with construction, commissioning, and operations teams to ensure smooth transition and readiness for start-up
- Driving contractor accountability for punch closure and participating in audits, reviews, and meetings to track performance and compliance

Expected:
- The candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical, electrical, or a relevant discipline
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in oil and gas projects is required, with significant exposure to punch listing, mechanical completion, and commissioning phases within ADNOC or similar large-scale projects
- Must have strong knowledge of industry standards, ADNOC specifications, and project execution practices
- Proven experience in managing punch list systems, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and working within PMC environments is essential
- The individual should demonstrate strong attention to detail, problem-solving capability, and the ability to prioritize and manage large volumes of punch items under tight schedules
- Familiarity with digital punch list and completion management systems such as Completions Management Systems (CMS) is required. Excellent communication and coordination skills are necessary to interface effectively with contractors, clients, and internal teams
- The candidate must be capable of working in site-based environments and managing multiple project priorities while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
