What you will do:
Job Purpose:
- The Portfolio Coordinator supports the operational management of investment portfolios by coordinating capital calls, portfolio reporting, banking and KYC processes, vendor and project setup, compliance activities, and investment documentation.
- Coordinate and process capital calls, ensuring timely execution and stakeholder communication.
- Manage KYC, bank account onboarding, and compliance-related documentation and processes.
- Maintain investment, fund, and portfolio records, including contracts, reports, correspondence, and valuation support documents.
- Support project and vendor setup for new investments, including CAS creation and system administration.
- Process invoices, raise purchase requisitions, and support accounts receivable activities.
- Coordinate reporting from fund managers and portfolio companies and maintain portfolio performance databases.
- Manage subscriptions to investment platforms, research tools, and market data providers.
- Track deliverables, timelines, and action items to support efficient portfolio operations.
- Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on operational matters.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in investment operations, portfolio administration, finance operations
- Understanding of capital calls, portfolio reporting, KYC, banking processes, and investment operations.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems is preferred.
