Duties And Responsibilities
- Proactively enhance the organization's presence and visibility by successfully registering and prequalifying with major National and International Oil Companies, EPC contractors, and other relevant sectors in the UAE.
- Efficiently manage and maintain ongoing registration and prequalification processes with existing clients, while also handling the entire registration and prequalification lifecycle for new clients.
- Develop and maintain a broad network of contacts to secure a place on Approved Vendor/Contractor Lists for relevant work categories, thereby increasing opportunities to participate in Tenders/Bid exercises.
- Actively seek and increase participation in RFIs (Request for Information), RFQs (Request for Quotations), and other tender opportunities through diligent market scanning, including monitoring of e-sourcing/e-procurement portals, industry websites, research databases, and news sources.
- Receive, acknowledge, and manage tenders, RFPs (Request for Proposals), RFQs, RFIs, and related communications as required.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in prequalification and registration roles, preferably within the Oil & Gas, ADWEA, ENEC, other industries in Abu Dhabi or UAE.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in a variety of software packages and IT skills, coupled with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong command of English, both spoken and written; Arabic language skills are beneficial.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management abilities.
- Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively in team settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
- Skilled in utilizing industry-relevant software tools and applications.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to manage diverse tasks and work extra hours when necessary.
- Discretion and a solid understanding of confidentiality principles.
