Procurement and Logistics Coordinator

Position Summary

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to effectively manage multiple procurement and logistics responsibilities while ensuring accurate documentation and seamless communication with suppliers and freight forwarders. Success in this role requires strong cross-functional coordination, supplier relationship management, and the ability to support efficient, timely, and compliant procurement and logistics processes from purchase order issuance through final delivery.

Job Purpose

To support end-to-end procurement and logistics operations by sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, processing purchase orders, maintaining procurement records, coordinating with suppliers after PO issuance, arranging shipments with freight forwarders, tracking goods production and cargo movements, and ensuring timely delivery to customers while maintaining compliance with internal policies and procedures.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day procurement and Logistics activities and support departmental purchasing requirements.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and evaluate price, quality, and delivery terms.
• Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers.
• Prepare purchase orders and maintain procurement documentation.
• Monitor goods under production and arrange shipment with freight forwarders and monitor the shipment movements.
• Coordinate with suppliers, finance, logistics, and internal users on order status and delivery schedules.
• Maintain records of invoices, quotations, orders, and related procurement files.
• Support customs and re-export documentation processes.
• Use MS Excel, MS Word, and ERP systems for reporting, tracking, and documentation.
• Ensure tasks are completed accurately, on time, and in line with company procedures.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting / management.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Basic accounting knowledge.
• Good command of MS Excel and MS Word.
• English and Arabic language skills.
• Strong organizing and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team, adapt to changing priorities, and solve problems effectively.
• Good time management skills.

• Experience with procurement ERP systems.
• Working knowledge of E-Mirsal II / DubaiTrade.ae, MOFA invoice attestation, and Dubai Chamber of Commerce for obtaining Certificate of Origin for re-export.
