Job Purpose

As a QAQC Inspector at Basatin Landscaping, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance throughout our landscaping projects in Abu Dhabi. Your keen eye for detail and technical expertise will support our operations and engineering teams by verifying that construction activities meet specified regulatory and company standards.

Roles, Responsibilities & Duties

• Conduct regular inspections and audits of ongoing landscaping and infrastructure projects to ensure adherence to quality assurance and quality control guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to monitor progress, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
• Review technical drawings, material specifications, and project plans to verify compliance with client requirements and regulatory codes.
• Document inspection results, prepare detailed reports, and communicate findings effectively to project managers and stakeholders.
• Assist in coordinating MEP, civil, and irrigation system installations ensuring seamless integration with site requirements and utility infrastructures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on processes, procedures, and technical designs to enhance overall project quality.
  
  

Qualification

Applicants should possess a technical diploma or degree related to civil engineering, landscaping, construction management, or a relevant field. Formal certification or training in Quality Assurance/Quality Control methodologies is highly advantageous. Proficiency in CAD and BIM software is required to effectively interpret and review technical drawings. Familiarity with material specifications, utility infrastructure planning, and irrigation system design principles is essential to succeed in this role.

Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental compliance in landscaping and construction contexts will support your day-to-day responsibilities. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary to manage multiple project inspections and documentation accurately.

Experience & Skills

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience working as a QA/QC inspector or similar role within landscaping, construction, or civil engineering environments. Practical expertise in conducting quality assessments, problem-solving on-site issues, and coordinating technical inspections between multidisciplinary teams is crucial.

Proficiency in technical communication, both written and verbal, ensures effective reporting and collaboration with clients, contractors, and internal departments. Candidates should demonstrate capability in handling CAD/BIM tools to facilitate accurate technical design reviews and draft evaluations.

Evidence of strong customer focus, accountability, and the ability to align quality processes with project goals will contribute to success. Experience in managing irrigation system quality checks and utility infrastructure coordination are additional advantages.
