As a Receiving Agent, you will play a crucial role in the efficient management of goods received by the hotel. Your responsibilities will include receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procurement policies and procedures.

- Receive and inspect incoming shipments of goods, verifying the quantity and quality against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Ensure that goods are received in good condition and that they meet the hotel's specifications and quality standards.
- Accurately record and document all received goods, including their condition, quantity, and any discrepancies.
- Update inventory records and maintain organized receiving files.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for the delivery of goods, including scheduling and addressing any issues or discrepancies.
- Report any damaged or substandard goods to the Procurement Manager.
- Assist in the management of inventory by maintaining accurate records of stock levels.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to optimize inventory control processes.
- Conduct quality checks on received items to ensure they meet the hotel's quality and safety standards.
- Report any quality issues to the Procurement Manager for resolution.
- Generate reports related to goods received, inventory levels, and any discrepancies.
- Provide timely updates to the Procurement Manager and Finance team.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols when handling and storing goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with the procurement team and other relevant departments.
- Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly manner, prioritizing guests' and colleagues' health and safety, as well as environmental conservation.
- Adhere to hotel environmental, health, and safety procedures and policies.
