We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Recovery Nurse to provide high‑quality, patient‑centred nursing care in the post‑anaesthesia setting. The role is responsible for delivering safe and evidence‑based nursing practice in alignment with DOH regulations and organizational policies. The successful candidate will monitor patients during recovery, ensure comfort and safety, and work collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive post‑procedure nursing care, including patient handover, monitoring, and safe discharge from the recovery area.
  • Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition, ensuring timely identification and management of any changes.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the recovery process.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support continuity of care and efficient patient flow.
  • Prepare and maintain recovery area equipment and supplies in accordance with safety standards.
  • Provide patient and family education on post‑procedure care and discharge instructions.
  • Follow infection control, patient safety, and quality standards in line with organizational policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent.
  • Valid DOH/DHA/MOH license or DOH eligibility.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Operating Theatre experience preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS certification required.
