currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our client team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients with respiratory illnesses and conditions breathe easier and improve their quality of life. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and monitoring their progress. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and education to patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Conduct patient assessments to determine the appropriate respiratory therapy treatments Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, bronchodilator administration, and chest physiotherapy Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, such as arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function tests Monitor patients' responses to therapy and adjust treatment plans as necessary Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions, medications, and self-care techniques Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive respiratory care plans Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and research in respiratory therapy

Requirements

Associate's degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy Valid state license as a Respiratory Therapist Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in respiratory therapy Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy principles, practices, and equipment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care Flexibility to work different shifts and weekends, as needed
