We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to lead our operations at our Reunion restaurant location in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, drive profitability, and create an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong operational expertise, decisive leadership, and a commitment to excellence in the hospitality industry.

• Oversee all daily restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery
• Recruit, train, onboard, and manage restaurant staff, fostering a positive work environment and conducting regular performance reviews
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue, control costs, and achieve profitability targets
• Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies
• Manage inventory, food costs, and vendor relationships to optimize operational efficiency and minimize waste
• Monitor and enhance customer satisfaction through quality service standards and guest feedback analysis
• Plan and execute marketing initiatives and promotional activities to drive customer engagement and increase market presence
• Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement and growth
• Collaborate with corporate leadership to develop and refine operational procedures and best practices
• Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally, ensuring resolution and maintaining positive relationships
• Coordinate special events, private functions, and catering services to maximize revenue opportunities
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in restaurant or hospitality management
• Proven track record of managing P&L statements and achieving financial targets
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Excellent customer service orientation and commitment to guest satisfaction
• Proficiency in restaurant management systems and point-of-sale (POS) software
• Comprehensive knowledge of food service operations, menu planning, and food safety standards
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; additional language proficiency is a plus
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and make data-driven decisions
• Experience in staff recruitment, training, and performance management
• Knowledge of local regulations and compliance requirements in the UAE hospitality sector
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Preferred experience in event management and marketing initiatives
• Preferred experience managing multicultural teams in international settings
