Your Day to Day:

As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will oversee daily restaurant operations in In-Room Dining services, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, service quality, and operational efficiency. You will supervise and support the team, maintain service standards, handle guest requests and complaints, and ensure smooth coordination with the Kitchen and other departments in line with hotel and brand standards.

Some of your main role responsibilities are:

• Supervise daily In-Room Dining operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and compliance with hotel and brand standards.
• Lead, train, and motivate the team to deliver personalized guest service, maintain productivity, and achieve departmental objectives.
• Oversee In-Room Dining orders from order taking and preparation coordination to timely delivery, setup, and collection, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards.
• Monitor food and beverage quality, service consistency, hygiene, and presentation.
• Handle guest enquiries, special requests, and complaints professionally, implementing effective service recovery to maximize guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate closely with the Kitchen, Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure seamless service and timely fulfilment of guest requirements.
• Monitor staffing, duty schedules, briefings, and task allocation to ensure adequate coverage and smooth operations during all service periods.
• Control operating supplies, service equipment, and inventory while minimizing wastage and ensuring proper stock handling in accordance with hotel procedures.
• Monitor guest feedback, service performance, and operational standards, implementing corrective actions and improvements where necessary.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and hotel operating procedures, while performing other reasonable duties as assigned.
  
  

Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for:

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Food & Beverage operations, preferably in a supervisory role within a hotel.
• Previous experience in In-Room Dining or Room Service is required.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of POS and Opera systems; familiarity with other hotel operating system is an advantage.
• Strong guest handling, problem-solving, and service recovery skills.
• Professional appearance and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Good command of spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
