Senior Accountant – Align Health, Abu Dhabi

Align Health is growing, and we're looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant to own our day-to-day finance and reporting as we open new clinics.

About Align Health

Align Health is a DOH-licensed allied healthcare and physiotherapy group in Abu Dhabi, with clinics at Al Zeina and Saadiyat, and two more opening in 2027 at Yas Mall and Reem Island.

The role

This is a full-time, on-site role at our head office in Abu Dhabi. You'll run the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting, keeping our records accurate, our controls strong and our business compliant with UAE requirements. You'll work closely with Management, Operations and HR.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the general ledger and complete month-end and year-end close, including reconciliations, accruals and adjustments.
• Prepare the monthly P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and management reports, for each clinic and for the group.
• Manage and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, supplier and bank accounts, and payment channels.
• Monitor clinic revenue, collections, card settlements, packages, advance payments and discounts.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management and budget-versus-actual analysis.
• Support compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisers and banks.
• Review payroll, WPS, allowances, commissions and reimbursements.
• Strengthen financial controls, approval processes and audit trails.
• Support Zoho Books and the automation of finance processes, including for new clinic openings.

What we're looking for

• A degree in Accounting or Finance. ACCA, CMA, CPA or similar is an advantage.
• Senior accounting experience in the UAE, ideally in healthcare or a multi-site business.
• Hands-on experience across the full accounting cycle: AP, AR, P&L, trial balance, cash flow, bank reconciliations and payroll.
• Experience with quarterly VAT returns, UAE Corporate Tax and supporting an annual audit.
• Experience with Zoho Books or a similar cloud accounting system.
• Experience setting up and improving accounting processes and reporting for directors.
