Senior Accountant (Payroll)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Accountant to manage monthly payroll processing for multiple companies, ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and Wages Protection System (WPS) requirements, and oversee payroll-related accounting activities. The ideal candidate should have strong payroll management skills, knowledge of gratuity and leave salary calculations, and experience in supervising junior staff to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing for multiple companies, ensuring accuracy and timely salary disbursement.
• Verify employee attendance, overtime, leave records, deductions, allowances, and other payroll-related information before processing salaries.
• Prepare and process payroll files in accordance with company policies and applicable UAE Labour Law requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Wages Protection System (WPS) requirements and coordinate with banks and relevant departments for salary transfers.
• Calculate and review employee end-of-service benefits, gratuity, leave salary, and final settlements in accordance with applicable UAE Labour Law.
• Handle payroll accounting, salary-related journal entries, accruals, provisions, and payroll reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate payroll records, employee salary details, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare monthly payroll reports, salary summaries, reconciliation statements, and other management reports.
• Coordinate with HR and other departments to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure employee data accuracy.
• Support internal and external audits by providing payroll records, reports, and relevant supporting documents.
• Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of experience in payroll and accounting. Qualifications: M.Com, CMA, or CA Inter
