Role : Analog is seeking a highly motivated Android Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mobile development, a strong understanding of Android platforms, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality applications.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications for a variety of devices.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend developers to define and deliver new features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and fix bugs, performance issues, and other app-related problems.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
  • Collaborate in the architecture and implementation of new app features and services.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
  • Perform code reviews and contribute to a collaborative environment to improve coding standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as an Android Developer with a strong portfolio of mobile apps in the Google Play Store.
  • Strong knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java programming languages.
  • Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and the Android platform.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services.
  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
  • Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles and Android’s design guidelines.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug Android applications.
  • Familiarity with Git for version control and collaboration.
  • Experience with testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Espresso, JUnit).
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and version control systems (Git).
