In response, a new AI Enablement Unit is has been formed to lead the effort to define and implement an AI strategy and embed AI into the fabric of the MIC organization.

What you will do:

MIC has the ambition of embedding AI in everything that we do. As part of this journey, the AI Enablement Team is helping the business move beyond isolated use cases. The goal is to change how core work gets done through agent-based workflows.

To meet this ambition, we are looking for a Product Owner to connect the business with AI delivery. You will work with business and corporate functions to find where agents can redesign processes from start to finish. You will then coordinate the right way to deliver each solution: proprietary build, low-code, or citizen self-development.

You will turn business needs into clear designs for agent-based workflows and send each one to the right delivery team. You will also make sure solutions are adopted and deliver measurable value. You will help business teams build the skills and confidence to experiment, build and scale their own solutions safely.

The role operates within a matrix structure. You will work with AI Strategy & Transformation, to align priorities with the enterprise AI strategy. The AI PMO, on intake, planning, governance and progress reporting; and the AI Product leads, the AI Lab and engineering teams, so that solutions are consistent, reusable and coordinated across MIC.

• Redesign core business activities with AI at the core: Work with business users to map investment processes and redesign them around agent-based workflows, rather than small automation gains.
• Turn business needs into agent designs: Write clear workflow specifications covering agent roles, tasks, decision points, data sources and human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
• Choose the delivery path: Review each use case and send it to proprietary build, low-code or citizen self-development, based on complexity, risk, scale and value.
• Connect business and technical teams: Act as the main link between business owners, AI Product leads, the AI Lab and engineering. Ensuring, priorities and acceptance criteria are clear.
• Support business developer capability: Set up and support a business developer community with templates, reusable agent patterns, and guidance on when to escalate to a proprietary build.
• Drive reuse and standards: Work with the AI Product and architecture teams to collect and share reusable agents, prompts, connectors and patterns across functions.
• Ensure responsible, secure AI: Apply guardrails, data access controls, human-in-the-loop flows and AI policy compliance across all delivery paths, including solutions built by citizen developers.
• Support the use cases pipeline: Run intake, prioritization and progress tracking in alignment with the product lead. Manage dependencies and keep the full portfolio visible.
• Drive change and adoption: Work with the AI transformation team to run discovery workshops, hackathons and training. Build a culture of experimenting and learning by trying.
• Measure value and performance: Work with AI Strategy & Transformation to define KPIs such as cycle time, hours saved, adoption and $ impact. Track results and improve towards targets.
  
  

What will you bring:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in an investment company, private equity firm, sovereign wealth fund, or a due diligence advisory practice.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in AI transformation: worked in product or transformation roles that connect business to tech. Has delivered AI process redesign and implementation in complex organisations.
• Applied AI across the investment lifecycle: demonstrated business-facing experience applying AI across investment activities.
• Business-to-technology translation: proven experience partnering directly with business users to gather and challenge requirements, demonstrate solutions, align stakeholders, and translate business needs into technically actionable scope and requirements
• Delivery Oversight Exposure: Hands-on experience overseeing and actioning progress against roadmaps, tracking milestones, dependencies, and capacity across multiple initiatives.
• Technology & Delivery Context: Experience working closely with technology or delivery teams, with a clear understanding of delivery constraints, trade-offs, and sequencing challenges.
• Risk & Issue Management: Proven experience identifying, tracking, and managing risks and issues across complex programs or portfolios.
• Senior Stakeholder interaction: Experience presenting portfolio status, risks, and trade-offs to senior leadership and governance forums.
  
  

Technical & Soft Skills

• Software and data fluency: working knowledge of APIs, relational and non-relational databases, programming languages, and modern libraries, with ability to engage credibily with engineering teams and assess technical feasibility.
• Applied AI architecture: Practical knowledge of AI skills, agents, plugins and MCP integration, including how these components connect models, tools, enterprise data, and user workflows.
• Prioritization & Trade-off Management: Ability to balance value, feasibility, and capacity when making portfolio recommendations.
• Roadmap & Planning Discipline: Strong capability to build and maintain realistic, dependency-aware roadmaps.
• Risk & Issue Resolution: Ability to surface delivery challenges early, drive mitigation actions, and escalate appropriately.
• Coordination with multidisciplinary teams: Strong collaboration skills when working with product tracks, business stakeholders and delivery or technical teams.
• Clear sStatus cCommunication: Ability to provide leadership with an accurate, honest view of progress and challenges.
• Decision support: Ability to frame issues and options clearly, enabling timely decisions and driving their follow-through.
