As a Senior Consultant in Pain Medicine, you will lead the diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex pain disorders, utilizing multidisciplinary approaches and advanced pain management techniques. You will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals across various specialties to deliver comprehensive pain care services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients with acute, chronic, and cancer-related pain.
• Develop and implement individualized pain management plans employing pharmacologic and interventional treatments.
• Perform advanced pain interventions, including nerve blocks, injections, and other procedures.
• Lead and mentor junior medical staff and contribute to their professional development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including anesthesiology, neurology, oncology, and rehabilitation services.
• Contribute to clinical research and quality improvement initiatives focused on pain management.
• Ensure meticulous documentation and compliance with healthcare regulations and institutional protocols.

Requirements

• Medical degree and valid licensing to practice medicine in a government healthcare facility.
• Specialization or fellowship training in Pain Medicine.
• Extensive clinical experience in pain management, including procedural and interventional techniques.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective patient care and team collaboration.
• Commitment to patient safety and evidence-based medicine.
• Demonstrated ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in clinical research or academic contributions is an advantage.
• Proficient in maintaining accurate medical records and adhering to healthcare guidelines.
