Key Responsibilities
- Design and supervise the implementation of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) systems, and pass way design.
- Prepare detailed electrical layouts, schematics, and diagrams using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Ensure all electrical designs comply with international standards, local codes, and client requirements.
- Perform electrical load calculations, lighting designs, and energy efficiency assessments.
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and draftsmen in preparing detailed electrical drawings.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to verify that electrical installations meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Address RFIs (Requests for Information) and resolve electrical design-related issues during construction.
- Provide technical support during commissioning, testing, and project handover.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical system design, especially for high-rise buildings or large-scale projects.
- Strong expertise in Electrical Work Estimation (EWE), ELV systems, and pass way design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for electrical design and documentation.
- Hands-on experience in lighting design, power distribution, and energy management.
- Knowledge of international electrical codes and local building regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and design capabilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- LEED or BREEAM accreditation for energy-efficient design.
- Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modelling) processes and tools.
- PMP certification or other project management credentials.
- Experience in energy audits and sustainable design practices.
