Role Overview
The Senior Groomer is a highly skilled and experienced pet grooming professional responsible for providing exceptional grooming services to pets. This role involves performing advanced grooming tasks, training and mentoring junior groomers, and ensuring high standards of pet care and customer satisfaction. The Senior Groomer will work closely with clients to meet their pets' grooming needs and contribute to the overall success of the grooming salon.

The Senior Groomer will work closely with clients to meet their pets' grooming needs and contribute to the overall success of the grooming salon.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality grooming services, ensuring the well-being and comfort of all pets.
- Supervise and mentor junior groomers, providing hands-on guidance and support.
- Maintain strict sanitary standards in grooming areas and equipment.
- Consult with pet owners to recommend grooming styles and care solutions.
- Handle pets with compassion and expertise, especially those with special needs or anxiety.
- Keep accurate records of grooming services performed and advise on follow-up care.
- Actively contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.
- Minimum 5 years of professional grooming experience with various breeds and coat types.
- Expertise in advanced grooming techniques, including hand-scissoring and styling.
- Proven leadership experience or supervisory skills within a grooming or pet care setting.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge of animal behavior, grooming safety, and pet first aid.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Certification from a recognized pet grooming school or association.
- Experience with exotic animals or specialty grooming (e.g., creative grooming, show grooming).
- Background in training or teaching junior staff in pet care environments.
- Ability to manage inventory and grooming salon supplies.
