Key Responsibilities
- Oversee individual and entity onboarding processes to ensure adherence to AML and KYC regulations.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of customer profiles to mitigate risks of money laundering.
- Develop and implement AML remediation strategies for identified compliance gaps.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance AML policies and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze transaction patterns to detect and report suspicious activities.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on AML compliance and regulatory updates.
- Engage with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and address any audit findings.
- Support the development of risk-based AML compliance frameworks.
- Participate in internal and external audits related to AML compliance.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of AML compliance activities.
- Multiple years of dedicated KYC/AML experience within established UAE banks.
- Strong hands-on experience in individual and entity onboarding and remediation.
- Proven track record in ensuring compliance with UAE banking regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in AML compliance software and tools.
- Immediate availability to join and contribute effectively.
- Professional certification in AML or equivalent experience.
