Role Purpose
The Senior Project Engineer – Plumbing is responsible for planning, execution, coordination, and delivery of plumbing works on construction projects in compliance with project specifications, UAE codes, quality standards, and safety requirements. The role involves close coordination with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.

The Senior Project Engineer – Plumbing is responsible for planning, execution, coordination, and delivery of plumbing works on construction projects in compliance with project specifications, UAE codes, quality standards, and safety requirements. The role involves close coordination with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
Key Accountabilities
Project Execution & Management
- Manage and oversee all plumbing works from project initiation to handover
- Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contracts
- Prepare method statements, work programs, and material submittals
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to schedules and budgets
- Coordinate with Project Manager on planning, execution, and reporting
- Ensure plumbing systems comply with UAE codes, authorities’ regulations, and project specifications
- Provide technical guidance to site engineers, supervisors, and foremen
- Resolve site technical issues, clashes, and design discrepancies
- Coordinate with other MEP disciplines (HVAC, Firefighting, Electrical)
- Liaise with consultants, clients, and authorities for approvals and inspections
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for timely material delivery
- Attend project meetings and prepare technical reports and progress updates
- Ensure all plumbing works comply with QA/QC requirements
- Conduct inspections and testing (pressure tests, flushing, commissioning)
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and site safety regulations
- Support final inspections, snag clearance, and project handover
- Assist in cost control, variation preparation, and claims support
- Maintain accurate project documentation and as-built drawings
- Support procurement by reviewing technical compliance of materials
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- 7–10 years of experience in Plumbing works within construction projects within MEP Contractor.
- Minimum 3–5 years in a senior or lead engineering role
- Strong experience in UAE construction projects (residential, commercial, or mixed-use)
- Knowledge of UAE codes, standards, and authority requirements (DEWA, ADDC, DM, etc.)
