Job Overview

We are looking for experienced Senior Solution Architect with deep technical expertise and strong solution-oriented capabilities to design and architect resilient, reliable, secure, and high-performing applications.

The role will work closely with the Head of Architecture, while also collaborating with the Delivery Head / Lead within the relevant business or functional domain. The Senior Architect will be responsible for developing architecture solutions that effectively balance functional requirements, customer/user experience, performance, reliability, resiliency, and security.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

• Design and architect resilient, reliable, and secure applications within microservices and API-based ecosystems.
• Develop and maintain architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Create end-to-end design patterns, high-level designs, and solution architectures across:
• Backend applications
• Frontend applications
• Mobile applications
• APIs
• Message brokers
• Event streams
• Microservices
• Design solutions for container-based and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate architectural principles and patterns, clearly articulating their benefits and trade-offs.
  

Agile & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with Agile Tribes and Squads across Quarterly Planning, Sprint Planning, Sprint Refinement, and Sprint Retrospectives.
• Collaborate with internal departments and subsidiaries to align architecture decisions with business and technical requirements.
• Work across functional and technical teams to ensure effective solution delivery.
  
  

Security & Resilience

• Embed cybersecurity and information security best practices into architecture and solution design.
• Ensure solutions are designed with appropriate reliability, resiliency, security, and performance considerations.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience developing end-to-end design patterns, high-level designs, and solutions across backend, frontend, and mobile applications.
• Strong experience in banking, accounting, payments, lending, and credit products.
• Corporate banking domain exposure is an advantage.
• Must have participated in or led at least 3 projects involving resilient, reliable, and secure applications within microservices and API-based ecosystems.
• Deep knowledge of:
• APIs
• Message brokers
• Event streams
• Microservices
• Container-based infrastructure
• Cloud-native infrastructure
• Strong understanding of embedding cybersecurity and information security into architecture and design.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies, Agile team structures, and Agile deliverables including Features, Epics, Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new functional domains.
