Senior Specialist - ESG

Job Role & Responsibilities

Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, environmental science, economics, business, engineering, finance, or a related discipline, 8–12 years of progressive experience in ESG, sustainability, responsible investment, or related strategy and governance roles, Demonstrated experience developing and implementing ESG strategies, frameworks, or policies within a corporate, investment, or advisory environment, Strong understanding of leading ESG standards and frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, UN SDGs, and regional regulatory requirements, Proven track record in ESG reporting, data management, and KPI development, preferably within a large organization or multi-stakeholder environment, Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to integrate ESG into business planning and decision-making, Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex ESG data and translate it into strategic insights, Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare executive-level reports and presentations on ESG topics, Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines, Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence, challenge, and build consensus across diverse groups, High level of integrity and commitment to ethical, responsible, and sustainable business practices, Professional certifications in ESG, sustainability, responsible investment, or related fields are an advantage, Experience in the GCC or a similar regulatory and cultural environment is preferred
