SITE ENGINEER

Key Responsibility

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Project Execution & Supervision
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Public Address, SMATV, Intercom, and related systems.
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved shop drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
• Monitor daily site activities and provide technical direction to technicians and subcontractors.
• Coordination & Communication
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, and mechanical teams to avoid site conflicts.
• Attend site progress meetings with contractors, consultants, and clients.
• Communicate material and manpower requirements to the project engineer/manager.
• Technical & Documentation
• Prepare and update daily progress reports, site logs, and red-line drawings.
• Support preparation of method statements, risk assessments, and test reports.
• Carry out inspections with consultants and ensure work compliance with QA/QC standards.
• Testing & Commissioning
• Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and system integration with support of Commissioning Engineer
• Health & Safety
• Enforce site safety policies and ensure team compliance with HSE regulations.
• Report hazards, incidents, and near misses promptly.
• Material & Resource Management
• Verify material deliveries and ensure compliance with approved MARs.
• Manage tools, equipment, and materials on site efficiently.
