Social Media Manager (Real Estate, Tech & Longevity)

The Greater Change

Date: 3 hours ago
City: Dubai
Contract type: Full time

Company Overview

Our client is a new-generation real estate development company based in Dubai. It is creating a portfolio of residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments designed around the future of human living.

The company is built on the pillars of thoughtful design, ancient architectural wisdom, intelligent technology, and human-centred data. It is pioneering a new category of real estate: places that actively support human health, wellbeing, and longevity.

Technology is not treated as an add-on. It is integrated into the foundation of every development. The company connects homes, products, and building systems through its proprietary intelligent living system. This intelligence learns from individual needs and evolves over time, creating environments that are more intuitive, responsive, and deeply human.

Its developments span residential, commercial, and mixed-use communities across Dubai. Architecture draws on timeless principles and is enhanced by modern innovation. Every home is designed to support healthier, longer, and more fulfilling lives. A growing, brand-led team is shaping the company’s identity across every channel and audience.

Job Purpose

The Social Media Manager develops and manages the company’s social media presence across the corporate brand, wider brand portfolio, and individual project and product launches. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the role translates approved brand strategy into engaging channel activity that builds recognition, grows relevant audiences, encourages conversation, and supports commercial objectives.

The role owns social media planning, publishing, community management, social listening, and performance reporting. Working closely with Content and Creative, it shapes platform-specific ideas and formats that communicate the company’s technology, design, wellbeing, and longevity proposition in clear and compelling ways.

The Social Media Manager also coordinates with Marketing, Events, PR, and Sales to keep channels connected to business activity. The role requires strong creative judgement, excellent writing, cultural awareness, and the ability to balance planned campaigns with timely opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Strategy & Channel Development

  • Develop social media plans for the company’s corporate brand, projects, and products in line with the wider digital and brand strategy.
  • Define the purpose, audience, content approach, and objectives of each channel.
  • Recommend platforms and account structures appropriate to the portfolio, avoiding unnecessary fragmentation.
  • Build relevant audiences across investors, end users, brokers, partners, technology communities, and other priority groups.
  • Research competitor activity, platform behaviour, and audience interests to identify opportunities.
  • Establish channel guidelines covering publishing, tone, engagement, and escalation.

2. Editorial Calendar & Content Planning

  • Own the consolidated social media calendar across campaigns, launches, events, leadership activity, and ongoing brand storytelling.
  • Work with the Content Manager to turn approved narratives into recurring series, educational content, interviews, and platform-specific formats.
  • Brief Graphic Design, Motion Design, and the Content Creator / Videographer on required assets, specifications, and deadlines.
  • Write and adapt captions, hooks, calls to action, and publishing copy in the approved brand voice.
  • Balance corporate, project, product, lifestyle, and people-focused content to maintain a coherent presence.
  • Track approvals and maintain a ready-to-publish content pipeline.
  • Contribute original ideas that make complex technology and wellbeing concepts accessible and relevant.

3. Publishing & Channel Management

  • Manage scheduling and publishing across approved platforms.
  • Check copy, visuals, links, tagging, subtitles, formatting, and factual accuracy before publication.
  • Maintain current profile information, approved links, highlights, playlists, and pinned content.
  • Adapt assets to each platform rather than relying on identical execution across channels.
  • Coordinate website destinations and campaign tracking with Digital Marketing.
  • Maintain secure account access and company ownership of profiles and associated assets.
  • Communicate changes promptly when project information, campaign dates, or event plans are updated.

4. Community Management & Social Listening

  • Manage comments, direct messages, mentions, and audience interactions within agreed response standards.
  • Develop approved response guidance with Marketing, Sales, and relevant customer-facing teams.
  • Route qualified enquiries to Sales through agreed processes and track handover where appropriate.
  • Escalate complaints, sensitive questions, misinformation, or reputational concerns promptly.
  • Monitor conversations relating to the company, its leadership, projects, products, and relevant industry topics.
  • Share recurring questions, audience feedback, and emerging concerns with Content, Marketing, Sales, and Technology.
  • Build constructive engagement with relevant communities, partners, and industry voices.

5. Launches, Events & Real-Time Coverage

  • Develop social media plans for corporate, project, and product launches, including teaser, reveal, and follow-up activity.
  • Coordinate with the Events Manager to incorporate broker events, investor previews, exhibitions, ceremonies, and other relevant occasions into the calendar.
  • Agree capture briefs, priority moments, interviews, asset delivery timings, and publishing responsibilities before events.
  • Attend relevant events and shoots to coordinate live coverage and capture straightforward platform-native content where required.
  • Work with Creative and Content teams on timely editing, approvals, and publication.
  • Confirm whether each event is intended for public coverage, limited sharing, or internal documentation.
  • Coordinate post-event recaps and approved media or partner content.

6. Paid Social, Creators & Partnerships

  • Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to align organic content with paid campaigns and amplification priorities.
  • Recommend organic content suitable for paid testing based on audience response and campaign objectives.
  • Use paid performance insights to improve future content briefs and messaging.
  • Identify relevant creators, collaborators, and partners based on audience fit, credibility, and brand suitability.
  • Coordinate approved collaboration briefs, deliverables, content rights, disclosures, and publishing schedules with the responsible teams.
  • Review partner content for accuracy and brand alignment before release.
  • Track collaboration outcomes and recommend improvements.

7. Performance, Testing & Optimisation

  • Establish channel reporting aligned with awareness, audience relevance, engagement, traffic, and enquiry objectives.
  • Analyse content performance by topic, format, platform, and audience response.
  • Distinguish meaningful engagement and commercial signals from surface-level audience growth.
  • Test creative approaches, publishing times, hooks, formats, and calls to action.
  • Present clear findings and recommendations to the Digital Marketing Manager.
  • Monitor platform developments and assess new features through practical testing.
  • Use approved AI and social management tools to improve research, workflows, and reporting while maintaining editorial oversight.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of hands-on social media experience, including responsibility for channel planning, publishing, community management, and reporting.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong brand storytelling, relevant audience growth, and successful campaign or launch activity.
  • Experience within real estate, technology, hospitality, luxury, wellbeing, or another brand-led sector.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms relevant to the target audience.
  • Experience briefing designers, videographers, writers, and external content partners.
  • Excellent English copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and format across platforms.
  • Experience coordinating live event coverage and working within approval processes.
  • Working knowledge of social media management, analytics, and listening tools.
  • Understanding of paid social principles and how organic content supports acquisition campaigns.
  • UAE market experience and cultural awareness are strongly preferred.
  • Arabic language skills are an advantage but not essential.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong creative judgement and platform-specific storytelling.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and audience communication.
  • Curiosity about technology, AI, wellbeing, and emerging culture.
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into engaging content.
  • Strong calendar management and cross-functional coordination.
  • Sound judgement when responding publicly or escalating sensitive matters.
  • Analytical thinking and a practical approach to testing.
  • Attention to detail, brand consistency, and factual accuracy.
  • Initiative and responsiveness during launches and live events.
  • Ability to manage multiple channels and deadlines with reliable follow-through.
