Job Description
Sonographer (Obs & Gynae) you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and detailed imaging services to support obstetric and gynecological diagnoses and treatments. In this role, you will utilize specialized ultrasound equipment and techniques to produce high-quality images of the female reproductive system. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient care and outcomes.
Responsibilities
Perform ultrasound examinations on pregnant women, focusing on obstetric and gynecological conditions Conduct Doppler studies, 3D/4D imaging, and other specialized ultrasound techniques as required Capture high-quality images and videos of the reproductive organs and fetal development for diagnostic purposes Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the ultrasound procedure Prepare accurate and detailed reports based on the imaging findings Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance Stay updated on the latest advancements and techniques in Obstetric and Gynecological ultrasound
Requirements
Successful completion of a recognized Diagnostic Medical Sonography program Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology Sonography (RDMS/OB-GYN) preferred Proven experience as a Sonographer, with a focus on Obstetrics and Gynecology Proficiency in performing a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including Doppler studies, 3D/4D imaging, and fetal anatomy scans Strong knowledge of obstetric and gynecological anatomy and pathologies Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex ultrasound images Effective communication skills to collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Commitment to patient care and safety
