Job Description
Experienced Sonographer (Vascular) to join our team. As a Sonographer (Vascular) you will play a vital role in providing quality diagnostic imaging services to our clients. The Sonographer (Vascular) is responsible for utilizing specialized ultrasound equipment to capture detailed images of the vascular system. These images are then used by medical professionals to diagnose and treat various vascular conditions. The Sonographer (Vascular) must have a thorough understanding of vascular anatomy and be skilled in performing and interpreting vascular ultrasounds.
Responsibilities
Perform and interpret vascular ultrasounds to assess blood flow and detect abnormalities Ensure patients are comfortable and properly positioned for the procedure Adjust ultrasound equipment settings to obtain clear images Document findings and maintain accurate patient records Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in vascular sonography
Requirements
Proven experience as a Sonographer (Vascular) Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program ARDMS registered or eligible for registration Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy and physiology Proficiency in performing and interpreting vascular ultrasounds Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce clear and accurate images Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
