Special Projects Manager - Creator Ecosystem and Platform Initiatives

Role Summary

We are looking for a Special Projects Manager who lives at the intersection of the creator economy and venture capital. This is not a generalist role. You must have direct experience in the creator ecosystem — working with creators, creator-led companies, or creator economy platforms — and genuine familiarity with the VC and startup investment landscape.

You will lead and execute creator-led initiatives and strategic projects, turning ideas into real programs with measurable impact. You'll work directly with creators, founders, and investors to identify opportunities, build new programming, and drive high-impact projects from concept to execution.

Who This Role Is NOT For

• Generalist project managers without creator economy or VC experience

Key Responsibilities

Project & Initiative Execution

• Lead creator-led special projects from concept to delivery, managing timelines, partners, and resources.
• Coordinate across internal teams (marketing, operations, legal) and external partners.
• Operate effectively in ambiguity and adapt quickly to shifting priorities.

Programming & Idea Development

• Develop and launch new programs under Creator Special Projects.
• Identify emerging trends at the intersection of the creator economy and startup/VC ecosystem.
• Design events, collaborations, and community initiatives that serve creators and founders.

Partnerships & Stakeholder Management

• Build and manage relationships with creators, VC firms, startup founders, and ecosystem partners.
• Maintain clear communication and alignment across internal teams and external stakeholders.

Reporting & Operations

• Track project timelines, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Prepare reports and updates for internal leadership.
• Ensure projects deliver measurable ecosystem impact: growth, engagement, and visibility.

Key Success Indicators

• High-impact delivery of creator initiatives and special projects
• Strong, active partnerships with creators, founders, and investors
• New ecosystem programs launched and adopted

Who You Are

• You have worked inside the creator economy — with creators, creator platforms, or creator-led companies — and understand how it actually operates.
• You have real familiarity with the VC landscape: how funds work, how investors think, and how startups raise and grow.
• You are entrepreneurial, comfortable building from scratch, and thrive in ambiguity.
• You are highly organized, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and don't need hand-holding.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with at least one of the following as a primary focus: creator economy, venture capital, or startup ecosystem building — and working knowledge of the other.
• Demonstrated experience launching or managing programs, partnerships, or initiatives in these spaces.
• Existing relationships within the creator or VC ecosystem (please speak to these specifically in your application).
• Strong project management, operational, and communication skills.
