Specialist / Consultant - Allergy & Immunology Government Healthcare Facility

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Allergy & Immunology Specialist / Consultant to join a prestigious government healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing allergic and immunological disorders in patients of all age groups, providing comprehensive care for complex immune-related conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of allergic and immunological disorders.
• Treat conditions including asthma, allergic rhinitis, food allergies, drug allergies, eczema, urticaria, and immune deficiencies.
• Evaluate and manage patients with primary and secondary immunodeficiency disorders.
• Perform and interpret allergy diagnostic procedures, including skin prick testing and relevant immunological investigations.
• Develop individualised treatment plans, including medication management and immunotherapy where indicated.
• Manage severe allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis, and provide appropriate emergency care.
• Monitor patients' treatment responses and adjust management plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with pulmonologists, dermatologists, pediatricians, and other specialists for multidisciplinary patient care.
• Provide patient and family education regarding allergy prevention and long-term disease management.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with established healthcare standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, research, and continuous professional development.

Requirements

• Recognised postgraduate qualification in Allergy & Immunology or equivalent recognised specialty training.
• Relevant specialist or consultant-level clinical experience.
• Strong expertise in diagnosing and managing allergic and immunological conditions.
• Experience in allergy testing, immunotherapy, and immunodeficiency management.
• Experience in a reputable hospital or tertiary healthcare facility.
• Excellent clinical judgement, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Eligibility for the relevant UAE healthcare authority's specialist/consultant classification, subject to authority assessment.

Preferred Qualifications: UK CCT, Western Qualified, American Board, Australian Board, and German Board qualifications are highly preferred.
