To perform the professional duties of an endocrinologist in accordance with the delineation of privileges as recommended and approved by the CPC.

To perform his duties in the Endocrinology Clinic, evaluating patients with hormonal diseases.

Provides after working hours on call emergency coverage for endocrinology. emergencies.

To perform endocrinal procedures – dynamic hormonal test in appropriate patient
-
To provide consultation/referral services to the in patient services in his area of expertise.

To work with the patients throughout the entire process starting from consultation to treatment plan.

Provides supervision and education to the staff nurses, patients and technicians.

Participates and contributes to all the quality assurance activities of the service (e.g. monthly mortality and morbidity conference, peer review, audit and chart review).

Performs additional duties as designated by the Head of the Department .

Provide a comprehensive professional and ethical quality clinical services to patients in an effective and efficient manner.

Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient care.

Ensure compliance with clinical governance and quality management standards.

Maintain accurate medical records.

Ensure excellence in medical practice is maintained by focusing on continuous professional development of self and others.

Maintain integrity in professional services by executing clinical services in an ethical and responsible manner

At least 3 - 5 years’ post qualification experience at Specialist level
-
Basic medical degree and completion of a specialty qualification/education programme (fellowship/diploma) recognised by the relevant UAE healthcare authority.

Certification and registration in a speciality recognised by relevant UAE healthcare authority. Active and valid life support certification (e.g. BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP)
- Eligibility for relevant healthcare authority registration e.g. Membership from Royal College / Arab Board Certification / MS / DM /
