The Senior Specialist – Business Development will be responsible for identifying and developing new commercial opportunities within the UAE, building lasting customer relationships, and supporting the delivery of world-class range services to defense and commercial clients

The Senior Specialist – Business Development will be responsible for identifying and developing new commercial opportunities within the UAE, building lasting customer relationships, and supporting the delivery of world-class range services to defense and commercial clients
Key Accountabilities:
- Partner with the Head of Business Development to manage and expand the UAE customer portfolio, developing new clients and strengthening existing relationships to drive both short-term and long-term sales opportunities.
- Contribute to monthly and annual order intake targets by securing UAE sales that support company revenue and profit goals.
- Collaborate with the Bidding and Commercial teams to create competitive, customer-focused proposals for bespoke defense and commercial projects.
- Proactively market XRANGE to new customer segments across the UAE, supporting marketing and communications campaigns, and representing REMAYA at key industry events and trade shows.
- Develop and maintain a credible CRM sales pipeline, tracking progress against in-year order intake commitments and forecasts.
- Support the Go-To-Market Strategy review, customer planning cycles, and sales forecasting for future projects.
- Prepare and contribute to monthly business development reports, sales performance updates, and XRANGE customer utilization insights for management review.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related discipline (Master’s preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the defense, aerospace, or government contracting sectors in the UAE.
- Proven success in identifying, developing, and closing high-value opportunities within complex stakeholder environments.
- Strong understanding of UAE defense ecosystem, procurement channels, and customer engagement practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at senior stakeholder levels.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite; experience with EDGE systems is an advantage.
