Strategic Finance Leader

We are looking for an execution-driven Strategic Finance Leader to drive operational decision making across our multi-entity portfolio. This is not a backward-looking accounting role or a generalist consulting job, this is finance deeply embedded in commercial business strategy. Instead of just reporting numbers, you will operate directly on the ground, analyzing product profitability, managing global tax structures, and making real time commercial decisions.

Responsibilities

• The Commercial Product Challenge: Audit unit economics and cost management layers across portfolios. Answer the core questions: Are we making money on this product? Do we keep it or cut it? What is its strategic value?
• Country-by-Country Tax Management: Lead international tax and cost structuring across our global footprint, strategically positioning costs across entities for maximum tax efficiency.
• Founder & CEO Partnership: Directly challenge subsidiary founders and CEOs on their cost bases, organizational structures, and headcount efficiency. You must hold your ground and drive tough operational decisions.
• Financial Team Management: Leverage your strong core finance fundamentals to hire, structure, and manage the accounting and transactional teams operating beneath you.

Requirements

• Background: 5 to 6 years explicitly within tax and audit tracks at top consulting or professional services firms. Your experience must bridge finance and commercial business strategy.
• The Mindset: Exceptionally hungry, driven, and focused on execution details rather than high-level advisory decks.
• Communication & Presence: Direct and assertive. You are completely comfortable putting opinionated founders and CEOs under commercial pressure without getting rolled over by strong personalities.
• Core Fundamentals: Bulletproof understanding of core finance, corporate accounting, and tech operations.
• Tech advisory/understanding is a plus.
